Europe Trip 2007 - Individual Standard

The individual competition was scored as a combination of jumping and standard.  Since Hemi already had an E in jumping, I didn't feel much pressure for this run.  This course didn't look too bad, except for an interesting weave entry and then the discrimination with three tunnel openings near #12.  After the weaves, you had to push out to get the correct side of the #9 jump and that gave some folks trouble.

Hemi started out great, getting her Aframe contact and nailing the weave entry with a cheer from the crowd.
Lovely all the way to the teeter.  Looking back, I should have front crossed the end of the teeter to help her into the correct end of the #12 tunnel.  But instead, I opted to pull her in towards me to avoid the #13,
then push in for #12.  Unfortunately, Hemi read the push in too late
and took the exit of #12 for elimination.

The spacing between the tunnels was unbelievably tight
and you can see on the video that I fell against the #12 tunnel
as Hemi was performing #13.
Luckily I stayed on my feet, whew!

The rest of the course was great, with extremely tight turns on jumps 14-17 and an almost running dogwalk contact!
