Best Friends will be offering a six week, one-time class designed for young dogs and adult dogs that don't yet have the skills to start a formal agility class.

The class will concentrate on foundation skills and building the relationship between handler and dog. Particular emphasis is placed on developing basic behaviors such as sit, down, stay, recalls, loose leash walking and trick training. Dogs will be introduced to the tunnel, table and working on new surfaces as well as following handler commands while in motion.

No previous training classes are required to attend this class. No aggressive dogs, please! 

Homework will be assigned each week and handlers should plan to spend few minutes each day training their dog to keep up with the material.
