Philosophy:
At Best Friends, we believe in individual attention so classes are limited to 7 dogs per instructor.  We make agility lessons fun and stress a positive attitude when training.  Negatives are not allowed!  We are a small school known for our family-like atmosphere and strong support system among students. 

Curriculum:
The focus of each class depends on the experience level of the dogs enrolled.  We cover directional commands, basic handling maneuvers and correct performance of the equipment in lower level classes.  Students in on-going classes are perfecting obstacle performance and sequencing.  Higher levels focus on refining handling, tightening turns, distance work, and understanding agility games. 

Days/Times/Fees:
Classes are held on Sunday through Thursday evenings, generally between 6:00-9:55pm.  Sessions meet once a week for 55-minutes.  Students are assigned to a time slot based on their level of experience.  The fee is $60/month. 


Other Notes:
All dogs in class must show proof of rabies vaccination.  Dogs that show aggression to people or other dogs are not permitted in group classes, however private lessons for recreational agility may be an option. Since we have an indoor, heated facility, classes will not be canceled except for extreme weather like tornadoes or icy road conditions. Please try to attend every session so you and your dog won't get behind!
