Haley competed for the first time in the Fort Worth Stock Show.  Saturday was forgettable.  Sunday was better!  Dogs in Novice are required to do an outrun, lift, fetch and pen.  There are no points for style in this competition, it's all about doing it as quickly at possible.  Each dog has two runs per day and the combined score determines the winners. 

In her first run Sunday, she had a good run but spent a little time trying to pen.  Our score was 30 seconds.

Our second run Sunday was awesome!  She did a lovely outrun and brought the sheep quickly to me.  We penned them almost before I could blink an eye!  Our score was 18 seconds!  That was the best time of the day.  A video of her run is below.

Our combined score put us in 2nd place overall, I'm so proud of Haley!  She has overcome a lot of issues and has found a sport that she loves.
