I'm excited to announce that Pam Richcreek (bio below) will be teaching at Best Friends! Pam has agreed to offer something I wish I had time for in my schedule: special skills classes that focus on specific needs. Topics may include weaves (entries/exits, footwork, staying in the poles, learning to weave), contacts (speed, proofing, independent performance), start line stays, table performance, and more! Of course, these topics are covered in regular classes, but sometimes a few dogs/handlers need special attention. And special skills classes are perfect for that!
Class fee is $60/55-minutes. The fee is split between the handlers. (3 dogs = $20/each, 5 dogs = $12/each, etc…) Minimum 3 dogs, maximum of 5. Classes will be held Tuesday mornings (time flexible) and Wednesdays at 8:15pm.
Tentative Schedule: (suggestions welcome!) Tuesday mornings - open to suggestions based on who can attend during the day Wednesday, July 30, 7:45pm Table Performance
Contact Pam to sign up.
****************************************************************** Pam started agility in 1996 with her rescued Schipperke Tessa. After many years of competing in show jumping and dressage with horses, working with dogs in agility seemed a natural progression.
After training for several years with Kathie Leggett in CA, Pam began teaching agility classes at her own facility in NV. Pam's husband, Craig, retired 3 years ago and the family moved from NV to McKinney. Pam continues to compete with her dogs and is an Agility Judge for AKC, USDAA and CPE.
